A license is the contract that tells a buyer exactly what they may do with your template. A personal or single-use license typically covers one end product for the buyer or one client, while an extended license covers resale, SaaS use, or multiple end products. Spell out whether the buyer may redistribute source, whether attribution is required, and how updates are delivered. For a digital storefront, showing the license terms on the product page and attaching them to the download reduces disputes and chargebacks, and it signals that you run a professional operation.
